Welcome to SifBeth I have a hobby - a very tasty hobby. I decorate cakes. This website is a display of my endeavours. Since I only decorate cakes for friends and family, I don't get to make much more than one a month, but I put lots of time (and powdered sugar) into each one. And then there's the dummy cakes that I make just for the fun of it. My personal style is heavily influenced by the Lambeth style, which is a very elaborate style from the beginning of the 20th century. It consists of lots of swirls, scrolls and overpiping, that gives the cake a very elegant look. I offer classes on this technique. I also enjoy making gumpaste flowers, and have a small collection of tutorials here on my website. There is also a tutorial on piping a simple Lambeth cake. Enjoy!
